Roasted black cod with lemongrass miso, Buddha Bar, London

Buddha-Bar, Knightsbridge, Review

145 Knightsbridge, London, SW1X 7PA www.buddhabarlondon.com

The London outpost of Buddha-Bar in Knightsbridge has reopened following extensive renovations and it’s a worthy wait as the venue is as glamorous as ever. The two-floor, 240 cover restaurant is decked out with Asian influenced décor to reflect its food, including hundreds of sculptures by David Begbie.

On the menu is an eclectic mix of sushi, salads and small plates. Look out for the Buddha-Bar chicken salad, crunchy sushi and roasted black cod. For something truly decadent, try the smoked duck and foie gras gyoza or the spicy truffled lobster.

The wine and cocktail list is even more extensive than the food menu but nothing pairs better to pan-Asian food than a nice carafe of warm sake.
